Hanna Hall (She/Her)

has worked professionally in the film industry for over 20 years. She won the Young Actor's Award for her performance in Forrest Gump at the age of nine and was nominated again for her role as Cecilia in Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides. She also won Best Actress at the Beverly Hills Film Festival for her role in the indie film Happiness Runs.

Hanna has performed in many intimate scenes, including her role in Rob Zombie's Halloween and as a guest star on Masters of Sex. She is a graduate of Vancouver Film School, where she studied film production.

Her background as both a performer and a production professional for over a decade gives her a unique perspective on understanding the needs of all parties involved. She believes that fostering a safe environment enables the highest level of creativity.

My Process from prep to shoot:

Pre Production:

  • Breakdown scenes involving intimacy and/or nudity.

  • Meet with Director/Showrunner and producers to fully understand the creative vision.

  • Speak with performers about what the scenes will entail to ensure fully informed consent.

  • Once everyone has agreed to the work, I can create the language for the Nudity Rider, and liaise with production and any other departments as necessary.

On Set:

  • Make sure the actors have the modesty garments and barriers that they need, and that they know how to use them properly.

  • Ensure that all closed-set protocols are being followed per SAG-AFRA.

  • Watch a monitor to make sure the director and performers get any support they need, while also making sure the simulated sex looks realistic.

  • Take care of background performers while shooting any nudity or intimacy.

  • When requested I can assist with any choreography and masking needs.
